Our golf netting systems last and look good for decades

At Netex, we’ve been installing golf barrier and impact netting systems for more than 20 years. We pay attention to both the aesthetic and technical aspects of every project, so that your netting system will last and look good for decades. It’s an approach that has given us a reputation as experts and innovators who insist on quality at every stage.

Although our clients can provide their own certified designs, we also offer a design consultation service to ensure Netex quality from start to finish for your golf range or fairway sports netting installation.

“His (Mark Wilson’s) knowledge of engineering anything netting is second to none… I can’t say enough about the quality of netting, quality of work, and clear communication throughout the process! I would highly recommend Netex Sport Netting Systems as you will not find a better product or person for the project!”

Royal Melbourne Golf Club (2016/2019)

Royal Melbourne Golf Club - Netex Netting

In 2016, Netex partnered with Country Club International in Netex’s first Australian project at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Using Netex engineered sports poles and strong – yet virtually transparent – Dyneema® netting, we designed and constructed a free-standing golf barrier structure 18m tall by 100m wide. It’s a sleek, structurally sound system, with no guy wires or support poles necessary.

When the Royal Melbourne was chosen to host the 2019 PGA Presidents Cup, the golf club turned, once again, to Netex and Country Club International to prepare, and we extended the existing barrier structure to 26m high. Since the addition wasn’t foreseen in the planning of the original structure, Netex had to engineer a new structural solution that could be incorporated with the original one. The existing Netex engineered sports poles allowed our team to engineer a pole and netting addition that looks as though the integration was completely preplanned.

Canterbury Golf Club (July 2018)

Golf Installation Canterbury

In 2018, Netex constructed a custom driving range at the distinguished Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio. The golf club has had the honor of hosting numerous prestigious golf events, including the US Open, PGA Championship, US Amateur, Sr. US Open and Sr. PGA Championship. To match the skill of those attending such competitions, the course had Netex construct the best range system available. The range consisted of five, 105-ft custom Netex steel poles running a total of 375 ft in a unique horseshoe shape along the back of the driving range. Netex Dyneema® golf netting was selected to create a near-invisible barrier with large spans between poles.

“Mark Wilson and Netex are a first class operation. There is no one more knowledgeable than Mark when it comes to recommending, designing, and installing netting. The Dyneema netting allowed us to go from 9 poles to 5 while still covering the same span. The end product has performed flawlessly and enhanced the aesthetics and functionality of our driving range.”

Metropolitan Golf Club (Sept 2018)

Metropolitan Golf Club Netting Installation

Netex once again partnered with Country Club International to bring the world’s most advanced driving range system to Australia’s Metropolitan Golf Club. A premiere driving range was required by the club as they were to host the World Cup of Golf. With Netex’s in-house engineering and twenty-two years of driving range construction experience, we were able to design and engineer an 18m-high steel pole system with the capability of an extension to 24m high, if required in the future. Precambered poles were used to eliminate the need for guy wires and to allow the pole system to be pushed back to the edge of the property, maximizing the use of the golf club’s real estate. Netex’s near-invisible Dyneema® netting was used to preserve the views and create a picturesque setting.
