Golf Netting
The world’s best golf netting system gives you a better view
Netex designs and installs custom barrier and impact netting systems for golf courses and driving ranges worldwide – you’ll find our projects in countries such as Canada, the USA, Australia, Korea and Taiwan. Whether you’re a tour-rated course, or a small public driving range, we can engineer and install a golf netting system that will protect your neighbours and give everyone a better view of the greens.
Our premium golf barrier net is made from #6 Dyneema®. Its impressive strength-to-weight ratio means that we can engineer and install barrier netting systems on your driving range or golf course that are up to 200 feet (61m) high, with spans of up to 82 feet (25m) between poles for standard designs, and 115 feet (35m) for custom designs – the widest spans in the industry!
Our near-invisible barrier netting offers the lowest wind resistance in the world, which means the overall stress on your netting system is reduced, and it will last longer.
Only Netex sells #6 Dyneema DSM netting for golf barrier applications. DSM is the original developer of Dyneema and their yarn offers an abrasion life four times longer than generic HMPE. The #6 netting has a projected life expectancy of more than 25 years, a 15-year limited warranty against UV degradation, and a 2-year workmanship warranty.
Bigger spans mean lower installation costs
A typical golf driving range is roughly 800 feet (244m) long, with 17 poles on each side, and a span of 50 feet (15m) between poles. The light weight and low wind resistance of Netex’s #6 Dyneema golf barrier net allows poles to be spaced every 80 to 82 feet (24 to 25m), so that the same layout uses just 11 poles per side. Not only are your installation costs lower, there are fewer poles and less hardware to interfere with the netting and cause maintenance issues. Our golf netting systems can be found on PGA and public courses
You’ll find our golf netting on golf courses and driving ranges around the world, including the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, the only golf course to host the President’s Cup outside of the USA, the Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia – host to the 2018 PGA World Cup of Golf – and the prestigious Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland. Check out some of our projects here.
Netex also supplies and installs products such as practice turf, LED lighting, driving range cell phone towers, and tournament fencing.
From engineered golf barrier netting systems to practice cages
Netex can offer a custom solution for almost any netting problem. Our experience and expertise – along with our drive to innovate – mean that our design, fabrication and installation methods lead the industry for quality, aesthetics, and netting solutions that last.
We build custom golf cages that range in size from a typical 10 x 10-foot cage, to a 60-foot wide x 80-foot high x 200-foot long, freestanding, enclosed cage with engineered, precambered poles. The precambered poles allow you to build a practice cage with a large footprint, without losing any area to anchor guy lines.
